4/27/2012 - The Honorable William K. Sessions, III has appointed a global institutional investor group, which includes BR&B clients the Mississippi Public Employees’ Retirement System and the Employees’ Retirement System of the Government of the Virgin Islands, as lead plaintiff and has appointed BR&B as co-lead counsel in Louisiana Municipal Police Employees’ Retirement System v. Clickhere for a copy of Judge Sessions’ April 27, 2012 memorandum opinion and order. The case arises out of allegations that defendants exaggerated Green Mountain Coffee Roasters’ earnings by falsely booking as “sales” shipments of excess products made to a fulfillment vendor. Following revelations of the company’s alleged earnings manipulation, Green Mountain Coffee Roasters’ stock price fell.
