Barrack, Rodos & Bacine Appointed Co-Lead Counsel in Fasteners Antitrust Litigation

8/21/2009 - Barrack, Rodos & Bacine has been appointed interim co-lead class counsel by the Honorable R. Barclay Surrick in In re Fasteners Antitrust Litigation, MDL Docket No. 1912, pending in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. In this case, Barrack, Rodos & Bacine represent a proposed class of purchasers of fasteners, such as zippers, snap fasteners, hook and eyes and rivets, used for fastening materials together in products used primarily in the textile, apparel, footwear and luggage industries. This case arises out of an alleged worldwide conspiracy among fastener manufacturers to violate the antitrust laws by fixing prices and allocating customers and markets for fasteners.
