Gerald J. Rodos
Gerald J. Rodos is a founding partner of Barrack, Rodos & Bacine. Mr. Rodos is experienced in the fields of securities and antitrust law and class actions, representing parties before federal courts throughout the United States and before the United States Supreme Court. He has been representing public and private institutions as plaintiffs in securities actions since the passage of the PSLRA in 1995, bringing actions against Cendant, Sunbeam, McKesson and WorldCom among many others. Mr. Rodos was also appointed lead counsel in, inter alia, Payne, et al. v. Micro Warehouse, Inc., et al., before the Honorable Dominic J. Squatrito in the District of Connecticut.
He has also been appointed lead counsel in numerous class actions brought for violations of the antitrust laws, including In re Automotive Paint Refinishing Antitrust Litigation, before the Honorable R. Barclay Surrick in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania; Thomas & Thomas Rodmakers, Inc. v. Newport Adhesives and Composites, Inc., et al., before the Honorable Florence Marie Cooper in the Central District of California, Western Division; In re: Metal Building Insulation Antitrust Litigation, before the Honorable Nancy F. Atlas in the Southern District of Texas; and In re Plastic Tableware Antitrust Litigation, before the Honorable Daniel H. Huyett, 3rd, in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Mr. Rodos was also appointed to the Executive Committee in In re Publication Paper Antitrust Litigation, before the Honorable Stephan R. Underhill in the District of Connecticut. Mr. Rodos has been selected as a Pennsylvania "Super Lawyer" in the field of Antitrust Litigation every year since 2008.
