Brett Wilmot

Brett Wilmot, Director of Institutional Research, joined the firm in 2008. Mr. Wilmot brings extensive financial analysis experience to the firm’s securities and corporate litigation practice. Using a wide array of market research tools and resources, Mr. Wilmot investigates new securities class actions, derivative actions, appraisal cases and other shareholder and corporate governance actions. Mr. Wilmot identifies instances where securities fraud or other corporate wrongdoing has adversely affected the value of our clients’ investments, and otherwise assists the firm’s effort in protecting client interests. Mr. Wilmot is also an integral part of the firm’s institutional development efforts.

Before joining the firm, Mr. Wilmot worked for a Delaware-based securities litigation law firm in a business development role where he created and instituted a proprietary portfolio monitoring program. He has extensive experience with calculations of client losses and recoverable damages. Mr. Wilmot also spent several years as an investment analyst for a $1 billion investment management firm.
